Stacy Szymaszek

Stacy Szymaszek is the author of five books. She was the Executive Director for The Poetry Project at St. Mark's Church in New York City from 2007-2018. She is the recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Poetry, and a Foundation for Contemporary Arts grant in poetry. She has been visiting faculty for Naropa University’s Summer Writing Program, and a mentor for Queer Art Mentorship. Szymaszek was the Hugo Visiting Writer at the University of Montana-Missoula 2018-19 and was a Poet-in-Resident at Brown University in fall 2018.
